GoPro MISSION 1 PRO ILS

The GoPro MISSION 1 PRO ILS brings interchangeable-lens flexibility to the action camera category. Built around a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, a 50MP 1" image sensor, and GoPro's GP3 processor, this camera is designed for creators who need cinematic image quality in a compact, rugged form factor.

Sensor & Processing

At the core of the MISSION 1 PRO ILS is a 50MP 1"-type CMOS sensor paired with the GP3 processor, delivering sharper footage, faster frame rates, and roughly twice the pixel processing power of previous GoPro models. Quad Bayer mode enables 2x video zoom and a 12MP shooting mode in 4K, while a dedicated Neural Processor Unit with 4x the processing power handles real-time subject detection, sharpness enhancement, and noise reduction.

Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount

Unlike fixed-lens action cameras, the MISSION 1 PRO ILS features a native Micro Four Thirds mount, allowing users to swap lenses for different focal lengths and creative looks while keeping the overall footprint compact. Lenses weighing more than 8.8 oz (250 g) are recommended to be used with a lens support. Note: this camera does not ship with a lens.

Dynamic Range & Low-Light Performance

A wide 14-stop dynamic range and dedicated low-light capture modes help maintain image quality across a broad range of shooting conditions, from bright daylight to dim interiors or nighttime scenes.

Field of View & Stabilization

A 159° field of view combined with enhanced zoom modes helps keep fast-moving subjects in frame. HyperSmooth stabilization is tuned for action-oriented shooting, with AutoBoost adjusting stabilization behavior based on speed and movement, and Horizon Lock keeping footage level even through a full 360° rotation.

Audio

Four built-in microphones capture stereo 32-bit float audio with wind noise reduction and automatic gain control for precise limiting. External audio input is supported via USB-C, a wired connection, or wirelessly over Bluetooth using a compatible transmitter.

Intelligent Shooting Modes

Built-in creative modes, including Vlog and Low Light, use onboard algorithms for noise reduction, subject tracking, and facial recognition. Frequently used modes can be organized into a customizable carousel for quicker access.

Display

A 2.59" rear OLED touchscreen and a 1.4" front LCD provide comprehensive framing and monitoring. Real-time onscreen indicators display white balance, EV, ISO, and shutter values for manual adjustment.

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 support fast, reliable wireless transfer to the GoPro Quik app, with unlimited cloud backup available through a GoPro subscription when connected to home Wi-Fi. A USB-C port and single microSD/microSDHC card slot provide wired transfer options. GPS data can also be captured and overlaid on footage.

GoPro Quik App

The Quik app allows users to edit footage, adjust automatically generated highlight videos, change digital lenses after recording, zoom in on key frames, and create custom presets for frequently used settings. Content can be uploaded wirelessly without a USB-C connection.
