The Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.2 LAB is an ultra-bright, full-frame wide-angle prime from Viltrox's flagship LAB series, designed for Sony E-mount full-frame and APS-C cameras such as the a7 IV, a7C II, a7R V, a9 III, a1, FX3 and ZV-E1. The classic 35mm focal length offers a natural, storytelling perspective for street, documentary, environmental portrait, wedding and everyday photography, while the f/1.2 maximum aperture delivers exceptional low-light capability and shallow depth of field with creamy, rounded bokeh from its 11-blade diaphragm.

Built to resolve fine detail on high-resolution sensors, the optical formula of 15 elements in 10 groups incorporates 5 extra-low dispersion (ED), 3 high-refractive (HR) and 2 ultra-precision aspherical elements to tame chromatic aberration, flare and distortion for crisp, high-contrast images even wide open. A dual floating-focus design maintains sharpness from infinity down to the 34 cm (13.4") minimum focus distance.

Autofocus is powered by Viltrox's Quad HyperVCM motor system for fast, quiet and precise focusing with full face and eye detection support, making the lens equally suited to stills and video. A smart LCD screen on the barrel displays real-time focus distance, depth-of-field and aperture information, and is complemented by two customizable Fn buttons, a multi-function ring, a focus limiter, an AF/MF switch and a click/de-click aperture switch. The all-metal, weather-sealed body resists dust and splashes, the front element carries a water- and stain-resistant coating, and a USB-C port allows easy firmware updates.
