Viltrox AF 50mm f/1.4 Lens (Nikon Z)

Pro-series full-frame 50mm f/1.4 standard prime for Nikon Z

The Viltrox AF 50mm f/1.4 Pro is a fast, full-frame standard prime for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras such as the Z5, Z5II, Z6II, Z6III, Z7II, Z8, Z9, Zf and ZR. The true-to-life 50mm perspective makes it one of the most versatile lenses you can own, equally at home for portraits, street, travel, events, food, still life and video, and on DX bodies it becomes a flattering 75mm-equivalent portrait lens.

An optical construction of 15 elements in 11 groups, including 1 ultra-precision aspherical element, 3 extra-low dispersion elements and 8 high-refractive-index elements, delivers edge-to-edge sharpness even at f/1.4 while suppressing color fringing, distortion and onion-ring bokeh. The bright aperture and rounded 11-blade diaphragm produce smooth, layered background blur and attractive sunstars when stopped down.

Viltrox's patented Dual HyperVCM motor system drives fast, near-silent autofocus with precise face and eye detection, and minimal focus breathing keeps framing steady for professional-looking video focus transitions. Handling features include a customizable Fn button, a de-clickable aperture ring with CLICK switch and an AF/MF switch. The weather-sealed, forged aluminum alloy barrel, water- and smudge-resistant front coating, brass-plated mount, 77mm filter thread and USB-C firmware port round out a durable, professional package.
