DIGIC X Processor

Derived from the R3 model, the EOS R7 features a DIGIC X image processor that excels in high-speed tasks, from rapid continuous shooting to high-resolution video recording. With the R7, you can achieve up to 30 fps continuous shooting using a silent electronic shutter or 15 fps with a mechanical shutter, accompanied by AF and AE adjustments before each frame. The processor also enables a wide sensitivity range from ISO 100-32000, expandable up to ISO 51200 for challenging lighting conditions.

UHD 4K Video Recording

Beyond photography, the EOS R7's sensor delivers high-resolution UHD 4K 60p internal video, utilizing the full sensor width. It supports 10-bit sampling with Canon Log 3 for enhanced video quality. You can also utilize a 7K recording area for oversampled 4K shooting at 30p, resulting in improved sharpness, reduced moiré, and lower noise. The camera offers 120p recording at Full HD resolution for captivating slow-motion playback. HDR-PQ recording is available for in-camera HDR production and external recording via the micro-HDMI port, supporting clean 4K output at up to 60 fps. The advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system, inherited from the EOS R3, boasts 651 automatic AF points covering the entire sensor area, ensuring faster, more responsive, and more precise focusing.
